Job Description
Principle Scientist, Data Governance
Fulltime Senior Principle Data Scientist needed for leading firm located in NYC. In this role you will work closely with other members of Data Governance CoE and business stakeholders on expanding Data Governance within the enterprise and work on increasing user adoption. The role has focus primarily on how business will benefit from Data Governance. This requires effective understanding of the P&C Insurance processes. This role requires influencing senior business leaders on adopting DG processes and onboarding engaged and committed data owners.

Another important aspect of this role is to operationalize Data Governance and make them actionable.
Drive Stewardship activities across LOBs to ensure it is on pace with industry and business needs
Champion the user adoption activities by extending DG processes across the enterprise

You will report to the Sr CoE Lead Data Governance

We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Deep understanding of Data Governance core principles
DG Strategy projects experience for five plus years
 
Excellent communication skills are a must.
