JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide technical leadership for design, installation and configuration of local and wide area networking systems.
• Perform problem analysis and resolution. Provide support for network systems. Manages security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks.
• Installs well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manages components (servers, IPs, etc.)
• Writes and maintains procedure manuals.
• Maintains daily performance metrics and logs of computer systems.
• Maintains and refreshes corporate hardware and computing environment.
• Runs diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
• Resolves technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
• Expert-level knowledge and understanding of installing/configuring/securing/ troubleshooting/monitoring all firewall appliances and networking switches/routers, wireless controller's/access points and all other applicable networking equipment
• Extensive knowledge of various network types including LANSs, WANs, WLANs, and VoIP network.
• Expert understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, etc.) and of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Required to have a solid understanding of Domains, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc. Required proficiency in Window Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 7/8.1/10, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2016 and virtual infrastructures with Hyper-V and VMWare.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud-managed solutions
• Manages all corporate telephony systems including VIOP telephony, video conferencing, etc. 2+ years administering Cisco UC environment (CallManager, Unity Connection, Finesse etc.).
