Responsibilities

  • In this full-time position, the engineer will design, implement, build and test software using a broad technology base, including but not limited, to Android, iOS, Windows, Java, Kotlan, Swift, Objective C, C#, JavaScript, Xamarin, Cordova, React, React native.
  • This role provides help to our support team and responsible for direct dialog with customers and developers using our products to solve their issue.
  • The engineer will work closely with the marketing team for product definitions and feasibility analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technically related fields, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Must be very knowledgeable with Android development, Activity life cycle, observer design pattern (using intent, broadcast intent), services.
  • Must be proficient with Java for Android, Kotlin, using Android Studio. 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android Platforms, using TDD.
  • Knowledge of Git and code review process.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using at least one of the following programming languages: Objective-C, Swift, .NET C# (Xamarin/Windows), Java (Android)
  • Previous experience with third-party SDK while developing an app
  • Knowledge about wireless technology such as Bluetooth is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Strong comprehension of web services, HTTP protocol, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming techniques on iOS/Android platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of "Clean Code" development techniques and OOP design principles.
  • Strong ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks and deliver code that meets performance budgets and goals.
  • Strong comprehension of MVC and/or MVVM design patterns.
  • Good knowledge of responsive and adaptive native mobile UI development techniques.
  • Pro-efficient in using Xcode or Android Studio or Xamarin/Visual Studio.
  • Good comprehension of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control systems, and Configuration Management.
  • Good understanding of iOS or Android SDK.
  • Good understanding of HTML5.
  • Mid-level knowledge of database fundamentals and data persistence techniques.
