Our ideal candidate will work well in a development team using iterative development methodologies to build robust, high-quality deployment process.

Responsibilities:

  • You will maintain and implement a build and release eco-system with stability, consistency, responsiveness and fault tolerance, for all Broadridge Investment Accounting products and solutions that serve the needs of our clients.
  • You’ll automate repetitive tasks including system builds, configuration and application installation processes.
  • Design, develop, maintain and improve our products’ installation/setup and deployment architectures. Identify and tackle problems concerning installers.
  • Collaborate with the development, service delivery and cloud engineering teams in the build engineering process. Share and promote best practices across the teams.
  • You will conduct Release Readiness reviews from environment management perspective.
  • Support and oversee creation of application implementation plans and run books for active applications.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholders as required (on a weekly rolling schedule).
  • You will negotiate, plan and lead all related release activities in the program.
  • Maintain a release schedule for all deliverables and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Lead and oversee the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
  • Maintain development team’s source code repository, a release repository and lead key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
  • You’ll coordinate and maintain team’s Jira project domains and work with management to improve SDLC process.
  • Evangelize industry best practices and trends throughout Technology Operations, Application Development, and Information Security to facilitate successful delivery of cloud projects.
  • This position often requires frequent off-hours activity and support
