Job Description:

The Business Analyst will analyze functions, processes and activities of the organization and any affiliates that lead to continuous improvements toward the most effective use of our many resources (funds, materials, equipment and people).

This position will utilize available computer systems, resources, and personnel to carry out analysis to support management’s decisions regarding useful business solutions and courses of action for continuous performance improvement.

Will be in communication with many other departments within Goodwill as well as outside agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with organizational leaders to identify and solve a variety of business system problems to include formal meetings with management to solicit understanding of the problem, document the symptoms of the problem, formally define the problem, break the problem into component parts, gather information about each of the parts, and recommend a solution. Completion of activity would also include documenting the result of implementation of recommended solution.
• Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems
• Assists in the planning, scheduling, and preparation of implementing improvement programs
• Assists with data integration activities to provide consistent and centralized data and reporting to include participation with Goodwill Industrial International’s data collection and comparison process
• Creates and/or recommends innovative solutions which are aligned with company objectives
• Works with teams to identify problems, analyzes information, and develops process solutions
