Job Description
Our customer is looking for an Angular JS Portal Developer for this 3 month +
contract opportunity. This person needs strong skills in
Angular JS (version 2 and above), Java, Spring, and with
Soap/Rest Web services experience.
The Portal Developer will work closely with the Tech Lead, Enterprise
Solutions Architect and Analyst to design and develop scaleable multi-tier
applications using industry standard technologies in a SOA environment.
This individual is expected to lead the technical effort on projects
through all phases including Requirements, Design, Development, Quality
Assurance and Production implementation. This individual will help support
corporate-wide strategic initiatives that utilize portal technologies. The
Senior Portal Developer will work with multiple IS departments. This
individual will write Technical Design documents and will work with the
Technical Lead and Application Architects to ensure consistent application
design and development. This individual will stay current with new
technologies and best practices, participate in user groups, and work with
vendor technical support group to resolve issues.
EDUCATION: (Minimum education required)
BS in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent level of
relevant experience required
EXPERIENCE: (Years of experience)
2+ years of Portal development experience
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: (Include interpersonal skills)
AngularJS 2 and above, Java, Spring
Apache Web Servers
JBoss, IBM MobileFirst and IBM Websphere
SOAP and REST web services
Relational database technologies SQL Server / Oracle
Knowledge in creating technical design documents
Multiple SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
Flexibility to adapt to any applicable development methodology.
Should be conversant with technology trends
