Shell script - Good hands on experience is needed
Hadoop admin has been involved with writing scripts to manage logs etc. apart from supporting cluster.
HDP 2.6 and 3.x version cluster. So similar versions are good to have.
Experience in Kerberized environment.
Good to have:
Responsible for implementation of Hadoop infrastructure.
Aligning with the systems engineering team to propose new hardware and software environments required for Hadoop and to expand existing environments.
Mentor Junior developers on the team regarding better ways for existing development (performance tuning) and the new Hadoop ecosystem tools.
Implement security for Hadoop big data.
Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines.
Help Application and Operations team to troubleshoot the performance issues.
Screen Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning.
