Job Description:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance of video-centric applications over CE devices, web, mobile - understanding system requirements, test requirement gathering, and testing life cycle.
  • Participate in day to day activities involving requirement gathering, translate requirement/design documents into detailed test scripts, maintain test environment, create change requests and follow up with the development team.
  • Certify applications developed for web, IOS, and Android and knowledge of various OS/browsers.
  • Knowledge of web debugging proxy application Charles or Wireshark.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for the test activities and process.
  • Demonstrated experience with defect tracking tool such as Jira
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Investigate bugs and provide root cause analysis.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, in addition to excellent attention to details.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development process.
  • Should have knowledge of API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman.
  • Should have experience in writing automated scripts using Python.
  • Shall be knowledgeable in using Linux and Shell Scripting
  • Expertise in testing tools like Appium, Selenium
  • Prior experience in writing automated tests using Javascript, Ruby or any other equivalent.
  • Knowledge of using GIT and Jenkins.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan test cycles, drive test scenarios, develop test cases, develop test reports and ensure compliance with the quality metrics defined for the project.
  • Identify, Isolate, and Track Bugs Throughout Testing.
  • Ability to work with the developers in reproducing issues.
  • Ability to meet project milestones, including QA cycles and ensure good quality on-time release.
  • Must have Automation Testing experience on GUI automation - web / APIs.
  • Good to have - Selenium web driver, Core Java, Maven, SOAP-UI, REST tools.
  • Good to have Linux system commands, Ansible framework, Python scripting or any other scripting.
  • Good to have experience in Automation frameworks - Robot Framework or any other similar.
  • Must to have experience in the data analytics tools like Splunk or any similar tools.
