Job Description

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for growing the data footprint in AWS, modeling data pipelines and data landscape, and integrating into existing and new architectures. In addition, you will work to design, implement and monitor scalable automated processes to support data extraction and transformation from a range of data structures and sources. You will be laying the groundwork for enabling advanced intelligence and incorporating machine learning into initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in a computer science field or information technology field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise cloud environment with knowledge of AWS - EC2, EMR, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, etc.
  • Deeply knowledgeable of databases and experience with Big Data technologies - SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop
  • Expertise in CI/CD Best Practices and Build Pipelines
  • Knowledge of message queueing, stream processing, and highly scalable sources
  • Expertise with ETL tools
  • Experience with coding/scripting in Python
  • Experience with Terraform
