Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work with the DevOps team on critical infrastructure, release management, and internal tools projects
  • Building creative timesaving tools for internal clients. We're actively improving our reports and tools to help everyone else in the company be very productive.
  • Working with a wide variety of technology stack (Python, Django, SQL & NoSQL databases) in the cloud.
  • Manage and potentially own some of the daily operational tasks for the engineering team
QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must have at least one of the following:
  • Bachelor level degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 1-2 years of related professional experience
  • Training and/or Certification in a relevant technical field
  • Strong with Python coding skills
  • Proficient in working in Linux environments via shell access
  • You enjoy learning and take pride in what you build
  • Eager to learn and implement new technologies
  • Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in our Oakland California office.
DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED 

  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management frameworks
  • Familiarity with Linux sys-admin tasks
  • Familiarity with advanced Unix shell scripting
