Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with application development team to understand business logic and develop clean, efficient SQL using stored procedures
  • Review SQL scripts developed by others and make/suggest improvement if needed
  • Perform release management across various environments
  • Perform database monitoring activities and make recommendation for improvements
  • Perform database performance tuning as needed
  • Participate in production support activities.

Required Experience:

  • Mastery in SQL language, writing efficient and easy to read SQL scripts (this is a must-have)
  • Extensive professional development of Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions (this is a must-have)
  • Extensive knowledge RDBMS and its internal working
  • Prior professional background using Data Modeling tools (such as Erwin) is a plus
  • Prior professional background using monitoring tools (such as Dynatrace) is a plus
  • Prior professional background using Database DevOps and release automation (such as DB Maestro) is a plus
