Job Description:

An independent contributor, technology quality professional, executing testing processes, supporting the development and implementation of applications/systems, and developing expertise in quality governance processes.

Plays a lead role in more challenging and complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports project teams to provide assurance that requirements, design, and other project deliverables meet standards, as appropriate.
  • Creates and executes test cases and documents results.
  • May serve as a test lead on projects including defining scope and the testing approach, reviewing requirements and technical documentation for usage, testability and traceability, deploying and managing the testing framework, and managing testing resources.
  • Tests new releases/upgrades prior to installation using a variety of testing methods (e.g. regression and acceptance tests).
  • Reviews quality management processes, identifies potential gaps and proposes solutions; upon management direction, implements quality system compliance processes.
  • Mentors new QA analyst in the creation of test cases from requirements documents and other related artifacts.
  • Drives test execution and status reporting.
  • Manages and monitors defect reports and works with developers and other project team members to verify resolution.
  • Participates in systems implementations including contributing to the validation approach, ensuring audit readiness, participating in vendor audits/evaluations and documenting validation results and requirements traceability.
  • May lead a small team of technical contributors, providing work direction, guidance and coaching.May also provide technical leadership to project teams.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
