Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop code from requirement specifications
  • Document requirements and test cases
  • Perform testing (unit, independent, system and performance)
  • Test Automation
  • Learn and implement new development processes and methodologies
  • Develop cloud based SaaS applications in the supply chain domain (Proto-typing, Coding, Unit Test)
  • Work through issues independently and demonstrate analytical and abstract problem solving
  • Understand challenges and best practices in logistics domain and implement best in class solutions
  • Communicate with all stakeholders across multiple projects (Development, IT, Clients, Carriers)

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Java/JEE development experience
  • Good grasp of engineering/software architecture principles and patterns (i.e. SOLID, GoF)
  • Ability to develop RESTful APIs
  • Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA, JDBC and related technologies
  • Knowledge of open source Java/JEE libraries and Frameworks
  • PostgreSQL or MySQL database development and sound understanding of SQL
  • Salesforce Development Experience (Apex) is a BIG plus
  • Javascript, Typescript, and Angular are a plus
  • Ability to develop unit tests and integration tests using JUnit
