Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong computer science and data-structure fundamentals.
Appreciation for design patterns/anti-patterns.
Developing server-side components (using Java and related apis) components that meet the business requirements in an effective and efficient manner.
Debug/Develop stored procedures, queries on Sybase RDBMS.
Directly interface with business analysts in understanding the requirement and providing solutions.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate excitement for technology and business.
Able to handle competing demands on time and manage work to deadlines.
Flexibility in outlook is essential.
A lot of interaction with business users and global development teams in different time-zones is involved.
