Job Description

Responsibilities:

    • Establishes the QA Practice for others to work within and follow
    • Develops the necessary forms of Quality Assurance tests and techniques to ensure the successful implementation of software and hardware solutions
    • Identifies, evaluates and proposes testing tools
    • Develops testing strategies for use within project and functional teams
    • Identifies, establishes and provides desired reporting of QA Practice effectiveness
    • Proficiently coordinates and performs test execution
    • Develops an appropriate and effective user experience and acceptance testing level of involvement
    • Collaborates with Software Development and other functional teams to effectively improve and manage defects
    • Participates in Change Control efforts as requested
    • Ensures all applicable compliance and security requirements are verified within the QA process for each end product
    • Documents key processes and workflows to ensure optimal understanding
    • Remains apprised of latest Quality Assurance trends and technologies
    • Provides QA testing estimates as request

Required Skills:              

                        

  • *3 years of experience working as a QA Tester.
  • *2 to 3 years of experience developing automated test systems for both .Net web and windows applications.
  • *Self-motivating with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • *Ability to work with and mentor other team members.
  • *Ability to write automated test scripts from scratch in line with approved software requirements.
  • *Ability to create scripts and test application beyond record and playback. Specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • *Positive attitude and driven.
  • *Ability to read and understand workflow diagrams.
  • *Ability to think abstract "outside the box "
  • *Passionate about product success.
  • *Ability to handle overlapping assignments.
  • *Ability to manage and oversee team member efforts.
  • *Ability to understand and promote process improvements as needed supported by team.
  • *Define QC scope and objectives.
  • *Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
  • *Experience in testing source to destination data movement and transformation
