Job Description

 JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Intelligence Analyst works closely with functional stakeholders that include product, finance, marketing, and operations to create and develop the scope of the business’ analytical reporting. This role bridges technology and business to provide data insights that support decisions made with Barnes & Noble Education’s products and services. Our company’s mission is to help students learn better. As our Business Intelligence analyst, you will analyze business processes and requirements that allow us to make informed strategic decisions.

You have a bias toward action. You can understand complex questions, frame them as metrics, and have the technical sophistication to retrieve and package the answers. You have insight, as well as some programming and computing sophistication. You will be part of an Ed-Tech team that is shaping the future of education. As a Business Intelligence analyst, you will contribute to the mission of delivering higher-ed. web apps at scale. You will inform product strategy and partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next phase of education technology products for students. You will develop product solutions and collaborate to develop go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and usage, maximizing the impact on students and our business.
