Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities by analyzing and understanding processes; assessing feasibility for automation
  • Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through RPA using programming languages and available platforms to deliver operations efficiencies
  • Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios prior to launching
  • Participate in QA testing activities, including testing at the task and end-to-end process levels, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Communicate to colleagues or customers during the product development to make sure it fits design
  • Support business teams in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT
  • Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines
  • Help develop standards and best practices for RPA including governance, operating model and solutions
  • Deploy projects successfully and problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required

Education, Experience, Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum job experience of 1-3 years developing or testing software solutions
  • Programming or development experience (Java, .Net, C#, Visual Basic, VB.net, etc.) preferably on automation and/or integration projects
  • Hands on experience on with RPA tools and Cognitive platforms such as Uipath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere etc., preferred
  • Prior functional experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems
  • Ability to understand business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation
  • Exposure to performance measurement and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six-Sigma, preferred
