Responsibilities, In this role you will: • Execute the overall Business Intelligence / Data Analytics and Reporting program for the ControlExpert (CE) business • Work with management and customers to understand and deliver data and reporting needs RIGHT THE FIRST TIME • Take ownership over data quality and integrity across all CE Business Platforms • Data sourcing, scrubbing and statistical analysis of claims data • Collect and analyze data for validity and accuracy in preparation of assigned reports • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of data source content and structure to assess the quality of data • Identifies and makes recommendations and correction for resolution of identified anomalies in data and reporting quality • Utilize department / company software to prepare moderate to complex data queries • Create and deliver daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc analytics and reporting to a variety of internal and external stakeholders and user groups • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of industry and company products/coverages and applies that knowledge to support business activity • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of relevant resource materials and manuals including statistical plans / models, coding guides, claims and associated data • Continually improve data quality and reporting to facilitate improved client interaction • Identify data and reporting challenges, develop and execute improvement • Be the liaison between the product team and end user/stakeholder, gathering requirements for future upgrades and extensions to reporting; identify improvements in automation/touchless delivery of Company Reporting and the end user experience • Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities. This includes but is not limited to Excel, database (transactional and data warehouse). • Define and develop procedures; design and develop ETL and data storage strategy necessary to support Company Reporting and Analytics
