Job Responsibilities
Use Tableau as a front-end BI tool to develop workbooks, dashboards, global filter pages, and complex parameters-based calculations. Responsible for Developing Dashboards and adhoc reports.
Designs and deploy rich Graphic visualizations with Drill Down and Drop-down menu options, and Parameters using Tableau
Defines best practices for Tableau dashboards and report development.
Hands-on development assisting users and BI team in creating and modifying worksheets and data visualization dashboards.
Develops Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending.
Builds, publishes customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server.
Creates action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
Restrict data for users using row level security and user filter.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong executive-level skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), data blending and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). SQL required
Strong consulting and diagnosis skills, asking good questions in order to quickly understand and translate the business need
Detailed, creative analytical abilities including predictive analysis.
Proven track record for working independently, taking charge of projects and delivering results
Proven ability to provide strong business analysis and reporting solutions.
Ability to translate business data into digestible information, including executive-level reports and presentations.
Has demonstrated a collaborative style in working across organizations and at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated team player with good interpersonal skills.
Experience working in Agile environment a plus.
