Job Description
Implementation of standardized SQL Server Jobs across the environment.
Manage database user / role permissions.
Assist with documentation of the current production environment.
Assist senior database administrators with daily tasks.
Review event logs / audit logs and parse for important information.
Perform monthly backup / restore tests.
Assist with DoD DISA STIGS.
Windows: 2-3 years
SQL Server: 1 year
Scripting / development language: 1-2 years
  • Active Top Secret
  • Active DoD 8570 Certification
  • Working experience with Windows Server 2012+
  • Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Working experience using SQL Server Management Studio
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments to include AWS / Azure
  • Knowledge of SQL Server recovery models and the Recovery Time / Recovery Point impacts of them
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and understanding of Domains
