Job Description
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration-line: underline;"><span class="size">Data Analyst:</span></span></strong></p> <p><span class="size">The employee will be able to work on complex problems that will result in increased data quality, driving more accurate business decisions. This person will be able to partner with the business to understand their needs and the usage of the data to help our customers become more efficient and gain additional knowledge about the data.</span></p> <ul> <li><span class="size">Candidate must have experience writing complex SQL queries</span></li> <li><span class="size">Knowledge of Healthcare data is preferred</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span class="size">Technical Skills / Experience:</span></span></strong></p> <p><span class="size">1) 2+ years of hands-on experience analyzing Healthcare data (Membership, Claims, Provider, Clinical, etc.)&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span class="size">2) 3+ years of demonstrated expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries is required</span></p> <p><span class="size">3) 3+ years of experience working with multiple areas within organization to get business objectives, data requirements etc.</span></p> <p><strong><span class="size"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Required Skills/Experience:</span></span></strong></p> <p><span class="size">1) 3+ years? experience with Oracle Database, SQL &amp; PL/SQL</span></p> <p><span class="size">2) 3+ years? experience to perform analysis with little/no direction, pro-actively identify potential issues in the data and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span class="size">3) 3+ years? experience business stakeholders to understand the impacts and root cause of data issues, gain consensus on the solution, and communicating the necessary fix to all impacted systems</span></p> <p><strong><span class="size"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Preferred Skills/Experience:</span></span></strong></p> <p><span class="size">1) Ability to work on multiple data quality tickets simultaneously and deliver within tight time-lines while being flexible in adapting to new roles&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span class="size">2) Ability to work with multiple areas within organization to get business objectives, data requirements etc.</span></p> <p><span class="size">3) Ability to interpret data that is not well defined or documented and develop recommendations based on findings</span></p>
