We are seeking Senior Data Analyst who will be responsible for architecting solutions and ensuring data integrity in large scale projects in AWS environments. You will work with application teams to define data quality requirements to design and develop scripts that will ensure data integrity, end-to-end, by testing the API. The successful candidate will also have to monitor reports to ensure data correctness.
Responsibilities:
Build processes to capture, mine, analyze, validate, and normalize Big Data in structured and unstructured data
Implement statistical data quality procedures on new data sources and apply iterative data analytics, supporting scientific algorithms to synthesize insights of commercial value
Work with data science, architecture, AWS DevOps, policy, security and legal teams
Develop and maintain standard methodologies and best practices for data analytics and visualization
Responsible for aligning the delivery of data flows from the Development team and Platform teams for High Speed Data Processing
Recommend and implement appropriate technical approaches for data quality, quality analytics, data quality scorecards, and integration solutions
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Math or Scientific Computing preferred
Deep understanding and experience with performance and performance tuning for complex large-scale dataprocesses and low latency
Over 5 years’ experience in designing and developing Big Data solutions in AWS environment using AWS EMR and other AWS Services
Deep understanding and experience building large scale data processes including scientific analytics using Spark, MapReduce, and other tools
BI project architect / technical lead creating functional design for overall BI solutions like Looker, etc
