About the role

Zillow is looking for a Business Analyst to provide ongoing data, analytical, and operational support for Zillow Offers Core Operations, specifically supporting the operations and strategy team. This role will serve several business functions and partner with numerous highly-skilled teams on cross-functional projects, requiring substantial business knowledge, operational rigor, professionalism, strategic thinking and problem solving, and extreme proficiency in data analytics.

You will:

• You will partner with various business lines within Core Operations to learn, document, and articulate process and data requirements in order to facilitate the development and implementation of data and operational strategy.
• You will support various operations teams in pairing metrics with business and process knowledge to improve management visibility and streamline operations.
• You will support the strategy and operations team by coordinating cross-functional projects, developing/managing quantitative models for evaluating proposed corporate opportunities, mapping process workflows, delivering polished presentations, and assisting in the creation of a seamless, integrated transaction experience.
• You will perform data analysis and validation for creation, and ongoing curation, of recurring business and operational reports, including curation and analysis of KPIs and SLAs––for recurring operations and ad hoc strategy/operations projects.
• You will partner with various teams to define data metrics and develop a deep understanding of interdependencies between cross-functional systems, datasets, and processes.
