<p><strong><span><span>Job Description:</span></span></strong><span><span>&nbsp; Business Process Analyst&nbsp;</span><br /> <br /> Seeking a Business Process Analyst (BPA) with specialty expertise in facilitating business teams to design new processes and solve process-related problems. The BPA needs to be able to understand the big picture and the business objectives that are instigating the need for process change to facilitate the business experts through discussions that reveal the process steps and integrations that are needed to achieve the business objectives. The BPA will also facilitate the business team to identify risks, opportunities and key issues and define the actions the team will need to do to operationalize the new process(es). The BPA needs to know how to document the new process(es) developing clear and detailed process maps using standard tools, such as MS Visio.</span><br /> <br /> Roles and responsibilities to include: Analyze process models (As Is) in order to design future and improved process designs (To Be); Bring process expertise and process engineering techniques to the business team to assist them to create the new process; Facilitate process modeling/mapping workshops with business experts to create the recommended improved process; Create process documentation/workflows/maps, including identifying the roles and responsibilities required to implement and operationalize the new process(es); Help the business experts identify risks, opportunities, and issues that need to be understood and managed to operationalize the process; Manager own tasks and activities and recommend sequence of process definition steps or stages to the team (this person should have project management skills to be able to manage his/her own tasks and activities; but will not be the project manager/administrator for the project as one is already in place on the team).<br /> <br /> Previous working experience as a Business Process Analyst for (5-7) years is required. BA/BS in business, computer science or other related disciplines that require process definition and implementation/operationalization. Certified in process excellence techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean or other similar methodologies. Project management skills/experience (for self-management against a plan created by the already in place project manager). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Critical thinker. Creative problem solver.
