Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the data from various discrete source systems and be able to profile the data using Informatica Developer and come up with data patterns, data quality observations and make recommendations to fix or cleanup the data.
  • Have an in depth understanding of Data Models for Data Stores, Data Warehouses and Data Marts and be able to work closely with Data Modelers to ensure the model is complete and works for the client requirements.
  • Draft and baseline data mapping documents for each of target DW/DM entities from the source data by working closely with the customer’s Business Analysts, Actuaries and Subject Matter Experts to come up with and document the translation rules, conformation logic as well as logic to build the Data Marts. Drive the data and respective mapping discussions and ensure the work is done in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate with the technical teams onshore and offshore to articulate the data mapping documents and results of the data analysis to ensure that the build teams understand the mapping rules without any confusion.
  • Setup and drive the meetings and discussions with various teams on the client as well as Capgemini side to ensure a smooth flow of information.
