Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Address user tickets regarding hardware and software thru the CAA support system.
    • Provide deskside or remote support, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware and configuring systems and applications.
    • Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers to ensure they interconnect with multiple systems including network drives and business productivity applications.
    • Provide staff with device support on laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
    • Daily visual inspection of terminal equipment such as display monitors and stick PC's.
    • Provide end-user support for a variety of web applications including Office 365.
    • Migrating PC's from Windows 7 to Windows 10 or higher platform.
    • Answer how to questions and resolve issues related to networked printers, scanners, faxes and any other peripheral equipment.
    • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional.





Qualifications


    • 6-8 yrs exp Assists end users in resolving hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls and email communication, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to facilitate a timely resolution. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
    • Works under immediate supervision.
    • May require an associate's degree in a related area.
    • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar roll.
    • Understanding of Microsoft environment/network including Active Directory, operating systems and business software.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Windows 10/7 operating systems.
    • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
    • Considerable ability to analyze IT systems equipment problems to develop and implement effective solutions.
    • Customer-oriented attitude.
    • Excellent customer service either face-to-face, thru telephone conversations or electronic interaction with clients.
    • Considerable oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
