Job Description :

The DevOps Engineer will help build and shape a DevOps culture at Land Title, both as a technical expert and as an evangelist for the organization. The individual should be highly proficient and technical within the DevOps practices, to include CI/CD, continuous testing, and delivery orchestration. The DevOps Engineer should have a solid understanding of agile development principles and be able to work closely with Development teams for identifying and delivering requirements.

In addition to the technical skills, the individual should be driven, collaborative, effective communicator, efficient, self-motivated, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Manage CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Travis
  • Create automated and repeatable processes using well-known languages and applications such as Ansible, bash, Chef, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python
  • Manage and maintain systems and applications across mixed-environment of Linux and Windows
  • Manage and maintain application databases that include MS SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Familiar with modern web architectures and related technologies, such as containerization, microservices, and distributed computing
  • Perform regular maintenance on applications and systems, including hotfixes, patching, and upgrades
  • Perform regular analysis of systems and applications and recommend improvements as needed
  • Perform routine security assessments on environments to ensure best practices for governance and regulatory compliance
  • Work within a team environment managing projects and creating technical documentation
  • Perform on-call responsibilities and after hours duties as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
