RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Conduct multi-channel deep dive analysis to understand the customer journey and apply creativity when solving business problems.
Ability to partner with business groups to provide decision support and help determine and drive business strategies by leveraging data.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect exp listed below)
2+ years of experience performing as a Data Scientist/Statistician/Machine Learning Engineer/Data Analytics
Hands on experience using SQL, SAS, and Python on large databases.
Experience in applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
Comfortable working with big data/large data sets.
Experience with data analysis, data mining, modeling, quantitative and data analytics
Experience applying analytic techniques to customer/consumer behavior data to determine key customer insights, drive business strategies and maximize ROI, such as text analytics.
Knowledge of dashboard and reporting software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Understanding of relational databases.
Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at any given time.
Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role
Must have excellent communication skills
Education: Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc) or sufficient on the job use of related skills. Masters/Phd. degree is a plus.
Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
Knowledge of at least one programming language for API s (python, java, etc.), and R.
Experience working with API s and integrating external data sources. Experience in the deep learning space.
Additional knowledge in NoSQL databases (Hadoop) and real time frameworks (Kafka, kinesis, flume, etc.), and AWS.
Financial Services experience.
