AWS Engineer 
Must Have



    • Experience with defining application architectures in the distributed / cloud environment.

    • Experience in highly-secured cloud environments that use n-tier designs and extensive firewalling to enhance security.

    • Experience in building and migrating business critical application to AWS

    • Over two years of AWS experience within the AWS ecosystem: EC2/EBS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, VPC, ELB, RDS, IAM, SNS, SQS, S3, Route 53, SQS, SNS, Lambda and API Gateway.

    • Experience in automated deployment of AWS structures [VMs, storage volumes, subnets, security groups, Auto Scaling Groups, IAM profiles] via programmatic AWS API access from Terraform, Ansible scripts.

    • AWS infrastructure modeling using Ansible and Terraform involving the creation of immutable infrastructure / infrastructure a code.

    • EC2 Container Service, Application Load Balancers [ALB], Route 53 redirectors, Auto Scaling Groups, Launch Configurations, Target Groups, and multi-AZ VPCs.

    • Experience with AWS KMS and automation of certificate management for SSL/TLS implementation across services.

    • AWS Security Groups, Target Groups, S3 buckets, VPCs with private and public subnets, EC2 volumes, and resource tagging.

    • System monitoring and log maintenance with AWS Cloud Watch and Cloud Trails API logging.

    • Experience with Blue-Green Canary Deployment

    • Experience on building DevOps pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins

    • Experience on all security work on AWS, including firewalling/security groups, configuring routers, policies and permissions.

    • Experience with building microservices / API based architecture using Java/Spring and modern technologies.

    • High level skills in Java, using the latest SDKs and tools and frameworks such as Spring, RxJava, etc.

    • Experience partnering with others to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

    • Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment. Document architectural plans implement various approaches to the problems encountered in the project agenda through environment deployment

    • Conduct/participate in POCs where required to help prove reference architecture patterns.

    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional architects (data, infrastructure, security, DevOps, network) to evolve specific architecture patterns/solutions.

    • Deep understanding of a software development life cycle, Agile methodology and DevOps
