Hands on experience in Hortonworks Hadoop administration, including installation and configuration of Ambari, Ranger, Yarn, Hive, Knox, Hbase etc.
HDP2.6 experience is preferred
Experience with Linux operating systems
Experience with Cluster monitoring, performance tuning.
Experience with troubleshooting potential configuration problems.
Experienced in Hadoop Administration and Linux;
Have good experience in dealing with customers/clients;
Able to work independently;
Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment;
Good in troubleshooting and resolving the customer's support issues;
Passionate and willing to learn new technologies.
Support/troubleshooting experience in one or more of the following areas:
Networking, Hadoop core, HBase, HIVE
Linux and or Unix environments
Scripting at the command line level for Linux
Enterprise storage, databases or high-end server solutions
Virtualized environments such as ESX, Xen, KVM, or AWS and EC2 NAS and/or SAN
