Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

TheQuality Analystplays a dual role of analyzing and modeling data, as well as managing tools and databases. The candidate applying for this position should be able to work across disciplines and organizations; identifying requirements, and producing logical data models. The qualified applicant will be expected to work directly with internal customers to develop strategies to meet their specific needs, while at the same time developing a common core approach to extend solutions to other disciplines and organizations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supplier Quality team's mission of continuous improvement through data driven processes and tools.
  • Work with customers to define requirements for systems and metrics
  • Convert requirements into actions and models
  • Identify critical problems and steps required for resolution
  • Support cross functional project teams
  • Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical problem-solving / troubleshooting mentality.
  • Knowledge of network documentation tools and network diagram tools(IPAM, NMAP).
  • Ability to quickly assess issues and resolve or escalate as appropriate.
  • Strong knowledge of Security devices (cameras, motion sensors, recording devices(DVRs) and device analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Firewalls, VPNs.
  • Strong knowledge of Network Printing, LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • Strong knowledge of SNMP and Network Monitoring tools.
