Machine Learning Platform Engineer:

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

• Proficiency in modern programming languages

• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

• 8+ years of hands on software engineering experience

• Demonstrated experience designing software solutions to solve complex problems; including hands-on programming in Python, Java, and/or C++

• Understanding of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in development/support of REST API interfaces (SpringBoot, GRPC, Swagger, Flask), streaming applications (Spark streaming and Kafka), SQL and No-SQL DBs (specifically with Cassandra).

• Extensive experience in providing solutions involving software and infrastructure engineering skills for metrics and event collection/correlation across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting. Experience with tuning high volume applications
